It gives me great pleasure to warmly welcome you to the ancient city of Calabar, our State capital for this important International Cooperation and Investment Summit.

The city of Calabar has a serene environment, exquisite cuisines, and an alluring ambience which makes it ideal for this very important Summit. I look forward to a gathering that will bring together Heads of Missions, cutting-edge professionals, successful entrepreneurs, and Chief Executive Officers of companies and banks in different development areas, who are knowledgeable in investment matters and are very willing to collaborate to achieve the goals of my new administration.

The global macroeconomic uncertainty occasioned by global disruptions with its attendant low productivity and limited availability of credit for private investment, particularly for Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs), makes it even more obvious that we make the necessary sacrifices today as well as mobilize available resources to secure our tomorrow.

This summit, will focus on the discovery of genuine exciting opportunities, maintain solidarity and develop economic relations, as well as address ordeals that will make a profound impact on economic growth.
